Our company is aggressively supporting potential young designers. At present, we made a sponsorship agreement with Tess Giberson, a young and energetic designer living in New York, to provide S.I.C. standard products and support particularly at our New York Branch.
Profile of Tess Giberson
She is a rising designer who made her debut with the New York Collection in 2001. She features her original style, which is expressed as “Linkage fashion”.
She creates her individual designs making use of various methods such as appliqué, crocheting, embroidery and open-work, based on American traditional spirits for handcrafts.
She realizes the aesthetic dream world you cannot see in any age and any area of this world in real clothes through her complicated and precise handwork. Tess Giberson holds an unchallenged position with her work, which features unique and distinctive individuality and is organically linked as a whole at the same time to be kept in balance.
Career
1992 - 1996 : She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied apparel design and acquired a BFA.
1996 - 1998 : She entered Calvin Klein New York and worked as a designer of men’s collocation.
1999 - 2003 : She founded Tess Giberson New York. Since then, she has been attracting a great deal of attention as an energetic creative designer.
